REMA Group designs, supplies and installs complete LP gas systems for homes, businesses and farms across Pretoria and Gauteng. Geysers, stoves, fireplaces, pool heaters and bulk systems — all installed safely and certified.
LP gas is South Africa's most reliable energy alternative — it works completely independently of Eskom, doesn't rely on batteries and provides instant, controllable heat for cooking, hot water and heating. With loadshedding a permanent reality, gas is no longer a luxury — it's a smart investment.
REMA Group is a registered LP gas installer supplying and installing complete gas systems for homes, estates, restaurants, farms and commercial properties across Pretoria and Gauteng. Every installation is done to SANS 10087 standards and accompanied by a Certificate of Conformity.
From a single gas stove connection to a complete bulk gas infrastructure for a hotel, lodge or commercial kitchen — we design, supply and install it all safely, correctly and on time.
Every system we install is sized and designed specifically for your property — from a single appliance to a full gas infrastructure.
Supply and installation of gas stoves, freestanding ranges and built-in hobs. Works during loadshedding — no electricity required for cooking.
Instant gas geysers provide unlimited hot water without electricity. Ideal as a primary or backup system alongside your existing electric geyser.
Built-in and freestanding gas fireplaces for warmth and ambience. Clean, efficient and instantly controllable — no wood, no ash, no mess.
Heat your pool quickly and efficiently with a gas pool heater. Extends your swimming season and costs significantly less to run than electric heat pumps in many scenarios.
Large-scale bulk gas infrastructure for hotels, lodges, restaurants, hospitals and commercial facilities. Includes manifold systems, regulators and distribution pipework.
All internal and external gas pipe installation, pressure testing, SANS 10087 compliance checks and Certificate of Conformity issuance for insurance and property purposes.
Gas installation is one area where shortcuts can be fatal. Here's why choosing a registered installer like REMA Group matters:
We are registered with the South African Qualification and Certification Committee for Gas. Only registered installers can legally install gas in South Africa.
We issue a CoC for every installation — required by your insurance company and essential for home sales. Many unregistered installers cannot provide this.
All work conforms to South African National Standards for LP gas — correct pipe sizing, regulator types, cylinder placement and ventilation requirements.
We don't just do the plumbing — we supply regulators, gas flex hoses, cylinder cages, manifold systems and all gas fittings. One supplier, one invoice.
From single-appliance domestic connections to full commercial bulk gas systems — we've done it all across Pretoria and Gauteng since 2007.
We discuss your gas requirements, assess your property and provide a detailed quote covering all materials, labour and certification.
We design your gas layout — pipe sizing, regulator selection, cylinder placement and appliance connections — to meet SANS 10087 requirements.
Our registered gas technician installs all pipework, fittings and appliances to specification. Every joint is leak-tested before activation.
We pressure-test the entire system, complete the compliance documentation and issue your Certificate of Conformity for insurance purposes.
Gas stoves, geysers, fireplaces and braai areas for Pretoria homes — stay comfortable and cooking even during extended loadshedding.
Bulk gas systems for commercial kitchens, hotel laundries, pool heating and space heating — complete infrastructure with full certification.
Off-grid gas systems for remote farm kitchens, lodge accommodation, staff housing and cold room heating — completely independent of municipal infrastructure.
LP gas is safe when installed correctly by a registered professional. Incorrect installation can be dangerous. Here's what our standards mean for your family and property.
Only SAQCC-registered installers can legally install gas in South Africa. Always ask for proof of registration — we provide it upfront.
Your CoC confirms the installation was done to standard. Required by insurance companies and for property transfers — many buyers now request it.
Every gas system is pressure-tested before use — confirming there are zero leaks in any joint, fitting or appliance connection.
Proper ventilation for cylinders and appliances is a critical SANS requirement — poorly ventilated installations risk carbon monoxide build-up.

Ask on WhatsAppYes — a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) is a legal requirement for all gas installations in South Africa. It is also required by your home insurance policy, and increasingly required by banks and attorneys during property transfers. Only a registered SAQCC gas installer can issue a valid CoC. REMA Group issues a CoC on every installation we complete.
Not legally — and not safely. South African law requires all LP gas installations to be carried out by a SAQCC-registered gas installer. An unlicensed installation voids your home insurance, cannot receive a CoC, and poses a serious safety risk. The cost of professional installation is minimal compared to the risks of doing it yourself or hiring an unregistered person.
Pricing depends on the appliances being installed, the pipe run distance, cylinder size and any additional fittings required. A standard gas stove connection starts from around R1,500–R3,000 including CoC. A gas geyser installation typically ranges from R4,000–R8,000. We provide a detailed, transparent quote before any work begins — contact us on WhatsApp for a fast estimate based on your specific requirements.
The right cylinder size depends on your appliances and usage. For a gas stove only, a 9kg or 19kg cylinder is standard for most households. If you're also running a gas geyser, you'll want twin 19kg cylinders on a manifold to ensure uninterrupted supply. For commercial applications, we typically design around bulk 48kg cylinders or larger permanent bulk tank installations. We'll calculate the correct sizing during your free consultation.
Gas addresses two of the biggest loadshedding pain points — cooking and hot water. A gas stove and gas geyser combination means you can cook and shower normally regardless of power outages. Combined with a rainwater harvesting system for water backup, these two investments cover most households' essential daily needs during extended loadshedding. REMA Group installs all three, so we can plan a coordinated package for your property.
